What Is Mechanical Engineering?

Mechanical Engineering involves the repair and maintenance of machines which range from simple mechanism to complex machinery such as motor vehicles. This programme is designed to provide the theory for the Mechanical Trade. The practical component (which is optional) will be offered after completion of the theory.

MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

NATIONAL N DIPLOMA QUALIFICATION

Students who have obtained the N6 Certificate and completed 18 months relevant practical experience may apply to the Department of Higher Education & Training.

Application forms available at the campus for the National N Diploma (equivalent to Matriculation plus 3 years).
