Maputa Campus is located in the Thandizwe area, near Manguzi, KwaZulu-Natal, and serves as one of the main campuses of Mthashana TVET College.

In terms of Courses and Programmes, Maputa Campus offers a variety of vocational courses including Engineering Studies, Business Studies, and Utility Studies such as Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Management, and Information Technology.

Maputa is managed by a campus principal along with administrative and teaching staff, focusing on delivering quality education and skills training to local students.

This campus is equipped with a number of facilities at the disposal of our students and staff members.

Workshops equipped with modern tools for Engineering trades (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical).

Computer labs for Information Technology and Business courses.

Programmes Offered

Most engineering and business courses typically run for 1-2 years, depending on the level (National Certificate [NC] levels, NQF levels).

For instance, NCV courses usually last 2 years, while short skills courses may be a few months.
