The Babanango Skills Centre is situated just off the R68 in Babanango town, about 58 kilometers north-west of Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal. This campus focuses primarily on skills development for local communities.

The Babanango SMART Skills Centre, launched in in 2023 as a public-private partnership initiative together with CHIETA, is a digital skills and entrepreneurship hub designed to equip unemployed youth with skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and the green economy.

It offers training in artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual reality, software development, and mobile repairs, providing free internet access and other resources to foster innovation and support Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). The centre serves as a bridge to the digital divide, creating opportunities for rural communities to participate in the modern economy.

Babanango Skills Centre is managed by a coordinator responsible for curriculum delivery, student outcomes, and community engagement.
